Frequently Asked Questions
Commodity (with HS code if you have it), total gross weight and dimensions, number of packages, origin address or port, destination port or door address, preferred Incoterm and your target ready date. For special equipment we also need loading photos or a stowage drawing.
Yes. FCL in 20GP, 40GP, 40HQ and 45HQ, plus LCL consolidation with regular cut-offs from our warehouse. We also handle open-top, flat-rack and reefer equipment.
Yes, via river feeder from the Atlantic coast. Transit is longer than to Santos and extra documentation applies for the Manaus Free Trade Zone — ask us to quote it as a separate lane.
We do, subject to a feasibility check on the commodity, the consignee's tax registration and the destination. DDP requires a clear understanding of duties and local formalities before we commit.
We confirm free time in writing at booking, pre-clear documents where possible, monitor container status daily and warn you before free time expires. Early planning is the single most effective lever.
Carrier liability is limited by international convention and rarely covers the full value of the goods. We recommend an all-risk cargo policy, which we can arrange per shipment or as an annual open policy.
Standard lanes within one business day. Complex project cargo or special equipment may take two to three days because we need carrier and handling confirmations.
We work with T/T in USD or CNY, with prepayment for new clients and agreed credit terms for established accounts. Details are confirmed in the quotation.
